Huawei Launches Honor 9N With Display-Notch And Dual-Cameras In India

Today at a launch event that took place in New Delhi, Huawei took the curtains off the new Honor 9N smartphone.

The new phone – dubbed as Honor 9N for the Indian masses – is basically the rebranded variant of the Huawei Honor 9i, which was announced in China in the month of June.

Huawei Honor 9N has a plastic back and features a 5.84-inch FHD+ display and has a 2.5D curved glass to top it off. The screen boasts a taller 19:9 aspect ratio along the way.

Interestingly, the new phone carries an iPhone X styling by employing a display-notch on top of the screen.
The new Honor-branded device is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor while it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI 8.0 skin running on top of it.

For unlocking the device, it has face unlocking capability as well as a fingerprint reader situated on the rear side below the dual-lens module.

Following the current market trend, the Huawei Honor 9N comes with 13 + 2MP dual-camera setup for the primary shooting. It also has a 16MP front camera sensor which resides in the notch.
The smartphone has a 3000mAh battery onboard and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The new Huawei Honor 9N will be available in Midnight Black, Sapphir Blue, Lavender Purple and Robin Egg Blue colors.

It is offered in 3 variants – 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage at a price of 11,999, 13,999, and 17,999 INR respectively.
The smartphone will be sold exclusively on Flipkart starting July 31.
